Two generations of the same programme
Urs Erbacher won the FIA European Drag Racing Championship six times. Jndia Erbacher, his daughter, was first taken to a racetrack at three weeks old and raced horses before she raced cars.
She took her Top Fuel licence in England, which is where European Top Fuel licensing has historically happened, and now drives a nitro dragster producing around eleven thousand horsepower.
Hockenheim, and a four-flat in the semi
At NitrOlympX at Hockenheim she won Top Fuel, running a 4.00 in the semi-final and a 4.08 in the final.
Top Fuel is a class where a run is four seconds long and the preparation between runs takes an hour. The team runs VP fuel and oil across the programme.
